Japan's leading cartoonist and yokai researcher,
Mizuki Shigeru from Sakaiminato and his works.
Mizuki Shigeru Museum was opened on the Mizuki Shigeru road in 2003 as a compilation of Mizuki World that is loved by all ages.

Inside the museum, there are full of breathtaking yokai works,
dioramas, and videos. You can enjoy the attraction of Mizuki World with solid atmosphere.

Access by car

Take Chugoku Expressway to Yonago Expressway via Ochiai Junction, and head northbound on Japan National Route 431 via Yonago Interchange

◆ Yonago Interchange is about 3 hours from Ikeda Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway in Osaka
◆ Head straight North from Yonago Interchange to Sakaiminato city along Japan National Route 431 (about 40 minutes)
◆ From Sakaiminato city, proceed along the "Mizuki Shigeru Road" signs.

[ From Yonago Kitaro Airport to the Mizuki Shigeru Museum ]

Take the "Hama Loop Bus" from Yonago Kitaro Airport (about 34 minutes), get off at the "Kyu NTT Mae" bus stop, and walk 2 minutes.

Access by train

Take the Shinkansen or other trains to Okayama Station. Take JR Hakubi Line bound to Yonago and get off at Yonago Station. Transfer to JR Sakai Line and get off at Sakaiminato Station

As soon as you leave Sakaiminato Station, you will find the "Mizuki Shigeru Road" which leads to the museum. Mizuki Shigeru Museum will be to your left after a 10-minute walk from the Sakaiminato Station.

Parking

Mizuki Shigeru Museum does not have parking.

JR Sakai Minato Station Parking Lot

We recommend parking in the public parking lot in front of Sakaiminato Station.
Mizuki Shigeru Road is a 10-minute walk between Sakaiminato Station to Shigeru Mizuki Memorial Hall. On this 800-meter street, there are 177 bronze statues including the Kitaro cartoon, Youkai Shrine, and youkai streetlights.

Hinode Parking Lot

200 m South of the East end of Mizuki Shigeru Road. 3-minute walk to the museum.
[ Parking fee ] 100 yen for the first 30 minutes, 200 yen for the first hour, and 100 yen every additional hour.
